The 6th is the final piece to the PSD to WordPress using Dynamik for Genesis puzzle. In the fifth part of the series, we went over changing widths and styling the Dynamik EZ-Static homepage. In this part, we finish our theme by adding the slider and changing some responsive settings inside of Dynamik.

In the fourth part of the series, we styled our inner pages as well as the comments sections, sidebars and footer. In this part of the tutorial, we’ll change our content widths and start styling our homepage using the Dynamik EZ-Static homepage feature.

In the third part of the series, we styled the primary navigation menu and the navigation menu that will be in the header area. In this part of the PSD to WordPress tutorial, we’ll style our content, comment areas, sidebar and footer.
In the second part of the series, we started with a fresh install of WordPress, uploaded the Genesis Framework as well as the Dynamik for Genesis child theme. We then added some content that included our menus, uploaded our image slices that we’ll use for the tutorial. We did some basic styling as well as adding an image for our logo. In this part of the tutorial, we’ll be positioning and styling our primary and header navigation menus.
The second part of the PSD to WordPress using Dynamik for Genesis series takes us into working in the Dynamik child theme. Choosing what settings will drive our theme to figuring out the fonts and body styles our new WordPress theme will need.
Going from a Photoshop PSD file to a completed WordPress theme using the Genesis Framework and the Dynamik child theme is easier if you’re prepared for the task. We start the process by getting everything we need ready to start building our new WordPress theme.
